Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Question 1, Does this website use cookies?
  2. Question 2, What are some of the improvements to the new website?

Answer 1: Does this website use cookies:

I only use cookies for the pick sheets (a cookie is a feature on your web browser that saves data on your computer). Cookies are used for the "save" and "recover" buttons on the pick sheets.  This allows you to start filling out a pick sheet and save your picks so that you can finish them later.  Just hit the save button then close your browser or even turn off your computer and whatever picks you have made will be saved until the next time you return to this pick sheet and click the recover button.  Remember, you have to click submit for me to receive your picks.

You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is sent. However, the save & recover functions will not work if you refuse cookies.  I do set these cookie to automatically expire in ~ 10 days.  I do not use cookies to retrieve any information from your computer.

Hints for saving your picks with cookies

1)  I suggest you try it to make sure it works.  Make a few picks, click the  "save" button, close your browser then come back to the picks sheet and click the "recover" button.

2)  Your browser must have cookies enabled for this to work (if you delete your cookies in your browser, you will lose your saved picks).

3)  The cookie is saved to the computer you are on at the time, so your saved picks can only be recovered on the same computer using the same browser software (different browsers will save different cookies).

4)  This does not submit your picks to me, you still have to hit submit to officially turn in your picks).
