Bill Smith

University of Michigan

& Dallas Cowboys

Sherman, Tx

He has been a my biggest recruiter of pickers (I may have to give him franchise rights).  I would expect nothing else from the Picker who wanted to pick all the division 1-AA games too!  Claims "There has never been a game I couldn't get into", wanted me to ask if anyone has tickets to the Michigan/Notre Dame game??

Nancy Dunn

Texas A&M, North Texas

& Cowboys

Houston, Tx

Rare event last year of not finishing "in the money".  If she can get over Terrell Owens now being one of her beloved Dallas Cowboys, she might have a chance this year.  Hey, she got over Fran coaching the Aggies (I think)!

Blake Smith

University of Texas wanabe

Plano, TX

Perennial winner of the "most college/pro games attended in person during the season" award. Won the 2006 NBA Pool in a tiebreaker (don't ask Ted about it). A little more focus on the "minor" games each week and he could be dangerous in this pool.

Dolores Smith

Green Bay

Sherman, Tx

Vows to finish better (though she did finish 1st in her own household last year).  One claim to fame, she did have the best picking % in the Ivy League last year!  Maybe she's just to scholarly for this bunch of pickers?

Aaron VanBaalen

Texas A&M, University of Texas

El Lago, TX

He won the NFL picking last year and the overall championship. So he and his Longhorns are the defending champs!!  Thanks goodness he doesn't brag much!!  Remember, it's hard to repeat (for you AND your Longhorns)!

Raul Macias

Texas A&M

Houston, TX

He (like his 5-6 Aggies in 05) both look to improve and escape their mediocrity of last season.  Maybe this will be Rimbo's and coach Fran's breakout year???

Rafael Munoz

Universidad de Puerto Rico

Houston, TX

Probably has the most varied results of any picker (has a 1st place week followed by a last place week).  I want to know how he does his picking research!!

Ted Miller

Texas A&M

Sherman, Tx

Probably still a little miffed over losing the 2006 NBA pool in a tie breaker. He's a high ranked preseason picker and may be due for a break thru in the picking this year (his picked have definitely improved from when he first started).

Greg Blackburn

Oklahoma State

Houston, Tx

New position at NASA, kids in college and high school.  Humm, we'll see if he has time to concentrate on his picks

Mark Deans

Chico State

Sherman, Tx

Wins the college picking in his rookie season. Beware the Sophomore jinx because now the pressure is on!! And Chico State really is a university!!!

Gary Kane

Georgia Tech

Houston, TX

This picker rode out Hurricane Katrina last year in Houston (I'm sure it was just so he could get his football picks in - which he did).  His Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets sure picked a tough opener with Norte Dame, but hey they upset Auburn to start the season last year.

Bill Bond

Wisconsin Badgers

&

Dallas Cowboys

Rookie

Hot Springs Village, AR

Being from Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Sherman, no doubt he will pick the Wisconsin Badgers and the Cowboys.  He was the first competitor to get his picks in (we'll see how good they are).  His wife Bernie  may help (someone to blame if he has a bad week)???  I understand he's a good ping pong player (I want as match)!

Morry Beatte

Missouri Tigers

Rookie

Sherman, Tx

I know we have a real sports fan here (he plays tennis, golf & hockey among other sports). Originally from Missouri and now a Cowboy fan he will no doubt pick Missouri and Dallas to win each week.

Joe Engle

Cowboys

Rookie

0

Howe, Tx

A Missouri native but now a Cowboy and Ranger fan (I'm sorry

Arnold Malanchak

Michigan

Rookie

0

Sterling Heights, MI

No wonder Bill recruited this picker being a fellow Michigan fan and ex Navy!

Clarence Rome

Kansas

Rookie

0

Sherman, Tx

He is from Kansas and likes to brag about it. His son, Mike was Quarterback for Kansas!

Kevin Dunn

New Mexico State University

3

Houston, Tx

I decided to kick Alex out of the pool since he beat us all so bad last year just by picking the by the odds.  I at least need to hold out till his teens before he starts beating me at everything (not when he's 3)!  And PLEASE let NMSU win ONE game this year!!!!!
